USING INSURANCE

In-network care.
Your plan still matters.

Rise Above Therapeutic Solutions is currently active and in-network with the following insurers for eligible Washington clients:

  • Premera Blue CrossEligible Washington clients
  • LifeWiseEligible Washington clients

Participation isn’t a coverage guarantee.

Not every plan, product, subsidiary, or service associated with these insurers is automatically covered. Your eligibility, benefits, deductible, copay, coinsurance, and other plan requirements may affect what you pay.

Please verify your coverage with your insurer and the practice before beginning treatment. Benefit verification does not guarantee that an insurer will pay a claim.

Questions to ask your plan

  • Is this clinician in-network for my specific plan?
  • Are the proposed therapy service and telehealth visits covered?
  • What deductible, copay, or coinsurance applies?
  • Are referrals, prior authorization, or other requirements involved?

Please don’t send insurance card images, diagnoses, or clinical history through ordinary website messages. If documents are needed, ask the practice how to provide them through its approved SimplePractice process.

PRIVATE-PAY OPTIONS

Another way
to begin.

You may choose to pay privately for therapy. The published rates above apply to private-pay appointments: $150 for a 60-minute individual session and $200 for a 60-minute couples session.

Private-pay services are available in Washington and Florida. All appointments take place online; you must be physically located in a state where the clinician is legally authorized to practice during your session.

If you have questions about using insurance or paying privately, bring them to the free consultation before deciding how to proceed.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATES

Know the expected
cost of your care.

If you don’t have insurance or aren’t using insurance for your care, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining expected costs under the No Surprises Act.

You can request a written estimate before scheduling. Generally, an estimate must be provided when you request one or schedule care at least three business days in advance.

If you schedule care 3–9 business days ahead, you should receive your written estimate within one business day after scheduling. If you schedule at least 10 business days ahead, you should receive it within three business days after scheduling. You can also request an estimate before scheduling; it should be provided within three business days of your request.

An estimate is not a bill. Keep a copy to compare with later charges. If a provider’s bill is at least $400 above that provider’s estimate, you may be eligible for the federal patient-provider dispute process.

COMMON FINANCIAL QUESTIONS

It’s okay
to ask.

We can talk through questions about costs and fit before you decide to begin.

How do I verify my insurance?

Contact your insurer and the practice before treatment to check your specific plan, clinician network status, covered services, telehealth benefits, and any authorization requirements. Please use the practice’s approved process for providing sensitive documents.

What might I pay with insurance?

Your cost may depend on your remaining deductible, copay, coinsurance, service eligibility, and other plan terms. Being in-network does not mean every visit is fully paid by insurance. No particular out-of-pocket amount can be promised here.

Can I pay privately?

Yes. The private-pay rate is $150 for a 60-minute individual session and $200 for a 60-minute couples session. We can discuss your options before you begin. Uninsured and self-pay clients can request a Good Faith Estimate.

Can I use insurance for couples therapy?

Couples therapy is currently offered as a private-pay service at $200 for a 60-minute session. This page does not promise insurance reimbursement for couples therapy.

Is the initial consultation really free?

Yes. The initial consultation is $0 and lasts 15 minutes. It’s a chance to discuss your needs, ask questions, and consider whether working together feels appropriate. It is not a full therapy session, and there’s no commitment to ongoing care.
